Information Designer
LINK is a fast-growing Woman Owned Small Business that focuses on leveraging human-centered design to support strategy and communication within the federal government and adjacent industries. They are seeking an Information Designer to transform complex ideas and data into clear visual products, collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to create engaging and intuitive designs.

Responsibilities
Develop high-quality, visually engaging deliverables such as infographics, charts, diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, dashboards, briefs and presentation visuals
Translate dense, technical or ambiguous information into structured, accessible and visually compelling formats
Create visual systems, frameworks, and narratives that support strategy, research and decision making
Produce materials optimized for both print and digital environments
Apply human-centered design principles to every stage of the design process, from understanding user needs to testing visual solutions
Collaborate closely with strategists, researchers, and subject-matter experts to ensure visuals reflect real user needs and client goals
Iterate rapidly based on stakeholder feedback data insights and testing
Understand client challenges and translate them into clear, tailored visual artifacts that drive clarity and alignment
Work with the strategist to engage with client to define goals, clarify requirements, gather inputs and present design solutions
Work efficiently under tight timelines and shifting priorities
Support the development of templates, visual standards, and repeatable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, UX Design, Visual Journalism, Visual Communications, or a related field
5-10 years of experience in graphic design or a related role
Strong expertise in information design, with a passion for creating visual stories and working with data to deliver impactful solutions
Well-versed in a variety of design areas (e.g., experience design, brand development, information design, graphic design) to propose and develop the best solutions for each project
Highly motivated to solve end-user challenges, meet stakeholder needs, and achieve business goals
Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Capable of meeting deadlines and adapting to changing requirements
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to lead clients and teams to clarity around requirements
A bias towards positivity, openness and supporting others
Design portfolio required for consideration
