Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting activities and provide direction to a contract accounting team
Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes
Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting packages
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and compliance frameworks
Partner with cross-functional teams on technical accounting considerations and organizational projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and coordinate audit deliverables
Identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvements, and greater efficiency
Qualification
Required
4+ years of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience working in a dynamic, project-oriented company
Comfort with modern accounting systems
Strong proficiency in Excel and presentation tools
Experience with project management or workflow tools
Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week in office
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
Preferred
CPA or other relevant certification
Experience leading contractors or external partners
