Responsibilities
Prepare and record journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
Reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and accruals
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal management reports
Review financial variances and trends, summarizing insights for leadership
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on schedule
Support inventory accounting activities, including physical counts and reconciliations
Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure complete and accurate financial information
Follow internal controls, accounting policies, and established procedures
Assist with audits, tax filings, and other compliance or regulatory reporting as needed
Contribute to special projects and additional assignments as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required
At least 2 years of accounting experience; experience in high-volume or complex operational environments preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles
Hands-on experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Preferred
Experience in high-volume or complex operational environments preferred
