They are seeking a Software QA Tester for In-Car Infotainment Systems testing, focusing on voice-enabled technology and German utterances, to validate automotive user interfaces and connectivity features.

Responsibilities

Perform functional, regression, and usability testing for infotainment systems (UI, navigation, audio, connectivity) on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs and directly inside vehicles

Identify, document, and report bugs in tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), working closely with developers to analyze root causes

Test wireless technologies including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and UWB, along with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration

Create detailed test plans and, in some cases, maintain test environment setups

Required

German-English bilingual; German native speaking/reading fluency

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

2+ years of experience in software QA testing; fluent using Siri, Alexa, Google Voice, etc. voice-enabled devices

Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA)

Preferred

QA testing experience with in-vehicle infotainment systems or consumer electronics

Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet)

Strong debugging skills and capability to troubleshoot complex, integrated systems
