Responsibilities

Receive, document, and submit workers’ compensation claims promptly and accurately
Serve as the primary point of contact for injured employees, providing guidance on claim procedures and next steps
Coordinate communication with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and healthcare providers
Maintain complete, organized, and confidential employee injury files
Track claim statuses and follow up to ensure timely resolution
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, including OSHA, state workers’ compensation regulations, and internal company policies
Prepare and submit required reports, logs, and documentation such as OSHA 300 logs
Monitor employee recovery progress and facilitate return-to-work or modified duty assignments
Collaborate with managers to evaluate accommodations or transitional tasks
Support employees throughout the entire injury and recovery lifecycle
Identify incident trends and help HR/Leadership develop injury-prevention initiatives
Assist in internal investigations of workplace incidents when necessary
Communicate safety reminders, training needs, or policy updates related to workplace health
Partner with HR, Payroll, and Management to ensure correct wage continuation, leave tracking, and benefit coordination
Provide managers with guidance on procedures, documentation standards, and responsibilities
Respond to employee questions with clarity, professionalism, and empathy

Required

Seasoned experience in workers' compensation, claims coordination, HR, or related field
Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and OSHA requirements

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with MS Office
