Sales Manager

Develop and implement comprehensive regional sales strategies to meet or exceed sales volume targets
Lead, mentor, and train outside sales teams to enhance their performance and effectiveness
Create and manage sales plans and incentive programs that motivate the sales force and drive results
Monitor sales metrics and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with marketing and product development
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in regional sales management or a similar leadership role
Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that increase sales volume
Strong background in outside sales and managing sales teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and train sales personnel
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
3+ years in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the office technology, IT Solutions, or managed services industry. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
Previous experience working in the Albany region or similar markets
Advanced leadership training or certifications in sales management
