HR Data Management Analyst, Fixed-Term
Stanford University is one of the world’s premier academic and research institutions, and they are seeking a fixed-term HR Data Management Analyst to support and maintain the data in their Oracle HCM system. Responsibilities
Ensure efficient and effective Oracle HCM and PeopleSoft system operations for the HR community by supporting HR data administration and maintenance through regular audits, system performance reviews, and workflow upkeep
Provide trusted guidance on HR data management processes, policies, and procedures, by resolving escalated tickets of intermediate to moderate complexity
Process PeopleSoft transactions to understand the data for the cutover in Oracle HCM
Provide high-level customer service by addressing escalated issues and processing escalated transactions
Proactively monitor Oracle HCM to identify and address potential data issues before the HR community is affected
Partner with the Data Governance team to establish and implement audit rules in collaboration with HR and University Data Governance
Deliver technical assistance for system-related data issues, identifying and addressing the underlying cause to prevent future occurrences
Resolve data issues submitted via ServiceNow
Quickly address and resolve data-related issues to minimize disruptions
Maintain open lines of communication with requesters, teammates, other COEs, and the HR organization at large
Regularly monitor tickets and queues, maintain adherence to SLAs, and openly communicate the progress and status of requests through resolution
Develop trusting, credible relationships through demonstrated ethical judgment, behavior, and practiced confidentiality
Contribute to an inclusive environment by building and maintaining collaborative relationships with team members, peers, and leaders across the HR organization
Provide high-level HR data management support by leveraging strong knowledge of HR programs, processes, and procedures to resolve system-related issues
Use knowledge to proactively monitor and audit the HR system and HR data
Recommend improvements to HR data management processes to enhance compliance, data accuracy, and system efficiency
Understand the alignment between HR data management and overall HR strategy
Perform other related responsibilities as requested and when necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Customer Service or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working in an HR Service Center, HR Operations, or as an HRIS Analyst
Experience transacting and resolving data issues in an HRIS system
Experience answering escalated, moderately complex employee questions, demonstrating a commitment to service excellence, and providing clients with accurate and thoughtful solutions in a punctual manner
Strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to think strategically and creatively to resolve intermediate to moderately complex HR data issues
Team-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
Ability to provide support and guidance as needed on projects
Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
