Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive professional relations strategy focused on cardiology stakeholders
Build and maintain long-term relationships with cardiologists, cardiac centers, healthcare institutions, and KOLs
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate clinical insights into broader business and engagement strategies
Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influential cardiology KOLs and healthcare professionals
Design and oversee speaker programs, advisory boards, webinars, and symposia
Collaborate with KOLs to develop educational and best-practice content for clinical audiences
Engage healthcare professionals through targeted interactions and educational programs
Gather insights on clinical trends, treatment gaps, and patient management needs
Translate feedback into actionable recommendations for marketing and business strategy
Lead the development and delivery of clinical education and training programs
Ensure educational content aligns with clinical guidelines, best practices, and compliance standards
Collaborate with marketing to develop compliant digital content, including expert interviews and case studies
Support KOL participation in digital initiatives and educational campaigns
Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
Manage budgets for educational and professional engagement initiatives
Represent the organization at national and international cardiology conferences
Coordinate KOL participation and speaker engagement at major industry events
Support the planning and execution of panels, presentations, and symposia
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field
5+ years of experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or clinical industry
Proven experience building and managing relationships with cardiology KOLs and academic institutions
Experience leading speaker programs, educational initiatives, and professional engagement efforts
Strong understanding of cardiovascular clinical environments and care pathways
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Strong project management and organizational abilities
Ability to synthesize clinical and market insights into strategic recommendations
Strategic, relationship-driven leader with a passion for improving patient outcomes
Highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally
Confident engaging senior clinicians and healthcare leaders
Self-directed and effective in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred
Advanced degree (MBA, MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent)
7+ years in professional relations, medical affairs, or healthcare marketing
