Assistant Professor - Public Relations
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Public Relations. The role involves teaching undergraduate courses, creating new courses on digital PR, conducting research, and participating in various departmental and university activities.

Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate level courses, especially in the program’s public relations concentration
Creating new courses on digital PR and advertising
Conducting research and grant writing
Academic/student advising and mentoring students
Participating in student recruitment and curriculum development
Conducting scholarly activities and all other activities required for tenure
Engaging in accreditation procedures, program assessment and service to the department, college and university as needed
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in mass communication, journalism, media or a Ph.D. in a closely related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline
Preferred
Professional training
Teaching experience at the University level
Research experience at the University level
