Responsibilities
Build, maintain, enhance and own operational tools, monitoring applications, and metrics reporting
Create and maintain technical documentation for existing and new applications
Debug and troubleshoot production application issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
Proactively monitor application health and performance
Provide live support to our internal end user community
Plan and implement life cycle management for infrastructure used in the applications you own
Collaborate with operations support, ITSM system administration, help desk, and product management
Support ongoing improvements to reliability, performance, and operational efficiency
Provide 24x7 support for production applications
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Management Systems with 5+ years of experience
Proficiency in Python for metrics reporting applications
Experience with Shell scripting and Linux/Unix Operating Systems
Oracle Databases and SQL
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion)
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
US Citizenship required
Hybrid employees must live within 75 miles of the iconectiv office in Bridgewater, New Jersey, which is the in-person office location where the employee will report when working in-person
Preferred
Experience in JavaScript to support ITSM application and integration
Experience with monitoring applications (e.g., ELK, Splunk)
