Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic finance partner delivering actionable financial insights to senior leadership
Lead all internal and external financial reporting
Own and oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy, analytics, and timely delivery
Manage external audits and regulatory compliance engagements
Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and supporting workpapers for reporting and tax filings
Oversee budgeting, cash forecasting, payroll, AP, billing, and fixed asset accounting
Support M&A activity, including opening balance sheets and 8594 purchase price allocations
Lead, develop, and manage a large accounting organization of up to 22 professionals
Establish and maintain strong internal controls while continuously improving close and reporting processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred)
Active CPA required
6+ years in a Controller-level role or higher
6+ years of people management experience, including oversight of large teams
Public accounting background with Manager-level experience or above
Experience in highly transactional, multi-location environments
Preferred
Private equity–backed company experience strongly preferred, including M&A integration
