Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls from potential patients, families, caregivers, hospitals, and social workers
Review potential members’ Verification of Benefits (VOB) and understand coverage details, including copays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs
Conduct outbound calls to follow up on patient referrals and coordinate with hospitals, social workers, patients, and families
Engage with social workers to understand patient needs and encourage referrals to Amae Health
Use clear, articulate communication to convey information about Amae Health’s services
Schedule and follow up on calls to ensure ongoing communication and referral progress
Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-up activities in the CRM system
Provide compassionate, empathetic support to patients, families, and social workers
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless referral process and high-quality patient care
Qualification
Required
2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare-related setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Persistent, resourceful, and proactive in securing patient referrals and supporting patients throughout the enrollment process
Strong proficiency with CRM systems and computer applications (e.g., Slack, Google Suite, RingCentral)
Empathetic and compassionate when handling sensitive patient information and situations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred
Experience in the mental health field
