Responsibilities
Working on narrowly defined tasks with clear instructions and support
Contributing to parts of Etsy’s application stack, including back-end technologies
Writing, testing, and improving code as part of a collaborative team
Learning how software is designed, built, tested, and deployed in a production environment
Asking questions, seeking feedback, and continuously improving your technical skills
Collaborating with engineers, product partners, and other interns in a supportive environment

Qualification
Required
Final-year engineering students graduating in mid-2027
Eager to learn by doing and gain hands-on experience in a real engineering environment
Comfort debugging familiar code, and willingness to work through unfamiliar code with guidance
Basic experience organizing work from idea to delivery (school projects count!)
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, or a strong desire to build that skill
Exposure to back-end technologies, OR
Apps, projects, or coursework that demonstrate a strong product mindset
Acting on feedback and mentorship
Being curious and proactive about learning new technologies
Collaborating respectfully in a cross-functional team
Taking responsibility for your work while knowing when to ask for help
