Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of high-performance firmware for real-time hardware sensors and control devices
Architect and deliver effective interlocks between hardware and software organizations to ensure seamless system integration
Manage advanced testing and debugging using circuit emulators, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes to ensure mission-critical reliability
Drive firmware architecture decisions specifically regarding signal processing and controller requirements
Maintain and support firmware throughout the production lifecycle, ensuring quality deliverables while adhering to aggressive schedules
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Control Engineering, or a related technical field
Hands-on experience developing with C++ on 32-bit embedded microprocessors
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Proven experience with compilers, debuggers, and version control tools like GitHub and Jira in a production environment
Preferred
Experience with Functional Safety development standards
Background in designing PID controllers, anti-aliasing, and decimation filters
Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink development for control systems
