Responsibilities
Lead a team of client-facing accounting professionals to deliver top-notch client accounting services, setting strategic goals and objectives aligned with Keystone Bookkeepers' mission and vision
Oversee the preparation and review of accurate and timely owner statements and management financials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
Help address challenging technical questions from both clients and our staff
Forge strong relationships with clients, providing strategic guidance to help them achieve their financial goals and objectives
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency within the client accounting services team, leveraging technology and best practices
Mentor and nurture team members, providing coaching and support to foster professional growth and enhance skills
Implement robust quality control measures to uphold the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification a plus
5+ years of experience in an accounting firm environment, with at least two years in public accounting
3-4 years of managing staff in a remote-work environment
Profound technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of GAAP and other relevant regulations
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a client-centric approach
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite: Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software platforms like QBO, Karbon
Proven ability to drive results, lead teams, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
