Blue Origin is working towards developing reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems. The Senior Antenna Engineer will help define requirements and develop optimal antenna systems for lunar landers as part of the Lunar Permanence business unit.

Responsibilities

Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, RF propagation, and antenna fundamentals
Proficiency in designing various antenna types such as horns, reflectors, microstrip patches etc

Qualification

Electromagnetic theoryAntenna designElectromagnetic simulation toolsRF propagationProduct development

Required

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
7+ years of relevant antenna design experience
Proficient with electromagnetic simulation tools used in antenna design (HFSS, GRASP etc.)
Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, RF propagation, and antenna fundamentals
Proficiency in designing various antenna types such as horns, reflectors, microstrip patches etc

Preferred

Experience with developing antennas for harsh environments
Experience with product development
