Responsibilities
Participate in the planning and risk assessment activities for audit engagements
Participate in fieldwork testing and audit documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and non-SOX engagements including reviewing processes and control support and performing inquiries with management
Participate in the wrap-up and reporting process and documentation
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field
Must be in junior, senior, or master status
Excellent relationship-building skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications is a plus
Previous work experience in accounting, finance, or audit is a plus
Preferred
Completion of the following classes are ideal: Auditing and Assurance Services, Internal Auditing, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, The Accounting Environment, Financial Reporting
