Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will assist in the accounting department with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes while ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities
Assists in monthly, quarterly, and annual period close process, as assigned
Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts, as assigned
Designs, implements, and maintains internal controls, reports for financial systems and interfaces
Assists with the preparation of monthly financial reports including P&L and balance sheet, as assigned
Assists with the preparation of the quarterly flux analysis for balance sheet and P&L accounts, as assigned
Provides information to auditors and management as needed: prepares audit schedules as necessary
Reviews and/or prepares financial transactions and/or general ledger journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure their accuracy and takes necessary action to correct any errors
Reviews, maintains, reconciles, and updates general ledger accounts as assigned
Identify opportunities for automation and elimination of existing manual processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience, preferably with a mixture of both audit and public company accounting experience
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to work efficiently and meet the deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong Excel skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1968
Fluency in English
Computer, office equipment, phone skills
