KIP Summer 2026 - Finance and Accounting Intern - American Legislative Exchange Council

Stand Together is offering the Koch Internship Program, a paid, 12-week experiential learning opportunity at non-profits across the U.S. The Finance and Accounting Intern will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, assisting with daily accounting activities and overall budget operations of the organization.

Assist with the overall operation and budget of the organization
Daily accounting activities required to maintain the Councils general ledger
Registration process for ALEC meetings
Daily maintenance of monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities

Geographically located within the U.S
Authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program
Available every Thursday from 1-3:30 PM ET for virtual professional development training
Available for the in-person summit at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, VA June 3-4
Self-motivated individual
Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment
Strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain detailed records

Preferred

Experience with non-profit accounting principles and procedures
