The Program Specialist II will validate and process requests for additional services, ensuring compliance with program criteria and overseeing home and community-based services for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Process requests for additional services (RFS) within the Medicaid Waiver and related contract requirements for Home and Community-Based Services waiver programs

Process RFS through private support coordination (SCE) for direct service contractors on USTEPS case management system per RFS criteria

Maintains division controls over services and related coding for units and rate and duration within the array of contracted services

Applies RFS program and fiscal controls related to needed PCSP changes

Implements the process and controls of the DSPD Individual Budget Worksheets (IBWS) for an individualized PCSP budget needing updates by the SCE

Demonstrates leadership in accomplishing DSPD division mission, goals, and objectives

Required

Has experience supporting individuals with disabilities to lead self-determined lives
