Responsibilities

Drive systemwide HR policy governance, regulatory compliance, and workforce risk management across the health system
Ensure that all policies, procedures, and employment-related practices align with Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements, national best practices, and Lee Health's strategic objectives
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and compliance frameworks
Ensure readiness for DNV Healthcare Accreditation and other regulatory audits
Foster a high-integrity, fair, and just culture by educating leaders and staff, partnering closely with Quality, Patient Safety, Corporate Compliance, and Legal Services
Advance a mature workforce risk management program and lead high-impact organizational initiatives that strengthen operational consistency, regulatory adherence, and organizational culture
Oversee three primary domains: HR Policy, Governance & Culture; Workforce Risk Management & Compliance; HR Partnerships, Processes & Projects

Required

Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 5 years HR, compliance or workforce enterprise risk experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of HR related laws and compliance requirements, policy writing
Experience working with hospital / healthcare accreditation bodies (e.g. DNV)
Experience collaborating with Corporate Compliance and Legal Services on EEOC or other government agency matters
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence leaders and drive system wide change
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities

Preferred

Masters degree in HR or Employee/Labor Relations preferred
PHR/SPHR, CHHR, SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP preferred
