HR Administrator
Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to assist with the day-to-day operations of human resources functions. The role involves onboarding, payroll support, employee inquiries, and maintaining HRIS records.

Responsibilities
Process enrollments, new hires, terminations, and upload employee documents through HRIS system and insurance carriers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions
Communicates with new hires regarding new hire orientation and serves as first initial human resources contact for questions or concerns
Assist with FMLA and workers compensation claims, tracking status and updates
Assist employees with daily inquiries, responds to HR inbox inquiries and forward to management as needed
Assist Recruiting with scheduling New Hire Drug Screens and HPE Testing and follows up with test results
Runs Motor Vehicle reports for new hires
Sends New Hire E-mails to managers and all applicable parties
Creates new hire login/access sheets and sets up access in company system. Requests equipment needed
Sends travel information for new hires
Takes new hire pictures and provides key fobs
Set up, prepare, and conduct new hire orientation
Process terminations: send email templates, terminate in company systems and collect terminated employee equipment
Maintains and organizes department’s mail correspondence, daily pick up and mailing of correspondence, organizing and submitting invoices to finance
Maintains purchase orders and office organization
Answers questions and advises employees of health and welfare plans, employee verification, and other pertinent information. Refers difficult or very complex complaints to manager as needed
Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Assist with input of payroll as needed
Assist with Coordinating wellness activities

High School Diploma, Associates degree or above preferred
Two to three years of human resources experience or a combination of education and experience
Experience with HRIS management systems required
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
Regularly required to sit, speak, and listen; occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
