Order Entry / Data Entry Specialist
HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry/Data Entry Specialist to support sales operations in a fast-paced office environment. The role requires strong accuracy, organization, and communication skills, and involves managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Accurately enter sales orders using 10-key data entry
Perform order entry and general data entry tasks
Review and verify orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
Conduct internet research to gather and confirm business information
Communicate with customers and businesses via phone and email
Compose professional emails and handle incoming calls and messages
Maintain organized records and documentation
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams
Qualification
Required
0–3 years of relevant office or administrative experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Comfortable with internet navigation and online research
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a busy office setting
Basic arithmetic skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality (onsite role)
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce
Familiarity with Outlook, Google Docs, or Oracle
