Responsibilities
Providing timely evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of non-emergent pediatric illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced urgent care setting
Utilizing clinical judgement to determine appropriate interventions, diagnostic testing and follow up plans for acute conditions
Educating patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and next steps with clarity and compassion
Ensuring thorough, timely, and accurate documentation of all patient encounters in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards
Partnering with support staff to deliver efficient, coordinated and high-quality care with an emphasis on safety and experience
Qualification
Required
Master's in nursing or a related field, as well as certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Current and unrestricted license to practice in Michigan
Current and unrestricted Michigan DEA license
Empathy towards patients, families and caregivers
At least 2 years of experience working in a pediatric or urgent care setting
BLS/ACLS Certification
