Responsibilities
Perform inspection of durable and consumable materials, commodities, and raw materials according to approved procedures
Conduct sampling of incoming materials in alignment with material specifications
Document and enter inspection results accurately into computer systems
Segregate and manage rejected or nonconforming materials
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of materials used in manufacturing areas
Release accepted incoming materials in internal systems following review
Verify accuracy and completeness of documentation generated per procedures
Support operations while complying with environmental health and safety policies and promoting continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or General Educational Development certificate with prior quality or pharmaceutical experience
Entry-level experience in a quality, manufacturing, or regulated environment
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and basic safety principles
Ability to perform visual inspections and follow written procedures
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Fundamental computer skills for data entry and documentation
Preferred
Associate degree in a scientific discipline
Experience in a pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing environment
Familiarity with inventory management or enterprise resource planning systems
Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts
Exposure to Word, Excel, and similar office tools
