Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a proven visionary and results-oriented leader as the Executive Director of Digital Strategy & Experience. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies to enhance patient and provider interactions within the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

Developing and executing strategies that improve digital interactions of patients, providers, and other users with a healthcare organization
Overseeing a cross-functional team to drive innovation, improve customer engagement, and enhance operational efficiency through the integration of digital solutions and advanced technologies

Required

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or related field, required
10+ years of progressive experience in communications, marketing, digital strategy, customer experience, or related fields, including 5-7 years of management experience with significant business impact
Significant digital marketing core expertise, including Digital experience and digital strategy within healthcare
Grounded in regulatory constraints associated with privacy, accessibility, and other areas of compliance scrutiny
Understanding of broad marketing technology environment and clear vision for how to build best-in-class capabilities
Experience identifying and evaluating new technologies for innovative solutions and process improvement, with demonstrated experience or strong interest in AI applications within marketing
Strong technical skills in areas such as user experience and digital platforms
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with web development processes, digital UX/UI, and other digital platforms
Experience identifying, developing, and bringing to market new ideas, products, services, processes, or business models and to develop and execute high-level plans
Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and departments
Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex strategies to executive teams
Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and digital transformation
Data-driven decision maker, capable of analyzing performance metrics and making strategic adjustments
Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
Self-starter; able to operate independently to drive change in the digital marketing space
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities

Masters preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Broader digital marketing experience in agency and/or other non-healthcare industries preferred
