Responsibilities
Lead moderate to large-scale engineering and capital projects, from concept through installation and commissioning
Troubleshoot, optimize, and support thermoforming and plastics production equipment and processing lines
Design, improve, and document manufacturing processes, SOPs, test plans, and control strategies
Support new product introductions, process scale-ups, and plant trials
Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, yield, and cost
Partner cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams
Serve as a technical owner for assigned equipment, processes, or product families
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, or Associate's degree with 9+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
Hands-on experience with production equipment, process troubleshooting, and data-driven improvement
Working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, Root Cause Analysis, 5S, 8D
Experience in plastics manufacturing; thermoforming exposure strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, or Associate's degree with 12+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
Proven success leading complex equipment, CapEx, and process improvement initiatives
Strong technical depth across manufacturing processes and quality methodologies
Ability to operate independently in a multi-site, high-visibility role
Preferred
Direct experience in thermoforming plastics manufacturing (thermoformed cup experience is a strong plus)
Background in injection molding, print, or high-volume manufacturing environments
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Experience supporting new product introductions
Familiarity with CAD and/or process simulation tools
