Responsibilities
Directly support users throughout the Indiana regions
Install company information on new devices while removing company information from old devices
Physical setup of user workstations; computers, monitors, printers, and any other equipment required
Enter all work performed in our ticketing system
Perform audits of accounts, devices, and data sources; correct errors as needed
Perform routine site visits to each of our Indiana sites to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
Supplemental Network/AV cabling as needed (working with Infrastructure team)
Regular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this position
This job may require additional duties not listed above and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needs
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience with Windows computers, and a wide variety of networking equipment
Understanding of basic networking terminology and the ability to communicate with level 3 support while troubleshooting equipment
Maintain a positive attitude and provide exemplary customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instruction given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices
Organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are required
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Regular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this position
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred
A college degree and/or 3 years or more experience in Information Technology or related major preferred
Experience with industrial and office environments a plus
