Power Consultant Assistant Project Manager - Transaction Services

Responsibilities
Manage data requests between our Subject Matter Experts and Clients
Manage report preparation and dissemination to technical team for required inputs including collecting and reviewing report sections and information from Subject Matter Experts, and organizing those into final work products through coordination with the Project Manager and administrative assistants
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
Determine, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, sub-contractors, resources, and risk
Attending internal and client‑facing meetings
Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project
Lead the project teams based on client requirements, milestones, and objectives
Facilitate status review meetings among project team members and clients
Work with senior management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules
Manage project requirements, scope, and change issues
Maintaining quality control to ensure accuracy and quality of content
Work with members of cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical or operational issues
Learn from Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts to advance their skills, knowledge, and project management capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or related discipline from an accredited university with four plus (4+) years of experience in a broad range of independent engineering assignments, and/or related business functions including: engineering, construction, site work, and consulting for lenders, funds, utilities, and independent developers
Experience in energy consulting and the evaluation of distributed generation, combined heat and power plants, utility consulting, electric power generation facilities, including renewable (solar, wind), hydroelectric, energy storage, thermal (combustion turbine, solid-fuel), carbon capture and sequestration and/or other power generation technologies
Experience with evaluation of commercial risks in construction, procurement, permits/compliance, or operating and services contracts
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Preferred
Master's degree
Professional Engineer (PE) certification
MBA
Bilingual (Spanish)
Proficiency in technical writing
