Troubleshooting record keeping and data entry issues
Maintaining timekeeping records and files
Preparing reports
Answering operators’ and supervisors’ payroll-related questions
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification
two (2) years of professional experience in payroll, finance, accounting or related work appropriate to area of assignment
an equivalent combination of related training and experience sufficient to carry out the duties of the position
Must pass a written exercise for the fiscal series
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license at the time of appointment
Preferred
Associates Degree
knowledge of public sector processes and procedures
working knowledge of payroll or accounting related software (must specify on application)
