Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
Experience in PLC and test equipment repair procedures
Hydraulic, pneumatics and electrical work
Set up on production equipment
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Reading and interpreting information and specifications from blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings in order to repair equipment, machinery, physical structures and systems
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Plan and organize mechanical activities required to support the production of safe, high‑quality products
Set up, adjust, and optimize manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure peak performance and compliance with cGMP and SOP requirements
Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including filling, packaging, and manufacturing machinery
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment control systems such as PLCs, HMIs, servos, photo eyes, and proximity sensors
Conduct root cause analysis to identify corrective actions and prevent recurring equipment failures
Perform general facility maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, and basic electrical work
Follow all established SOPs and safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as maintenance technician
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Reading and interpreting information and specifications from blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings in order to repair equipment, machinery, physical structures and systems
