Responsibilities
Schedules new evaluations from patients and Physicians requesting Therapy services
Obtains financial and demographic data necessary to perform the registration
Utilizes resources necessary to conduct patient care and job duties efficiently, safely, and in a professional manner
Adjust to changes in department schedule when reasonably requested based on census and department staffing needs as set forth in hospital policies and procedures
Maintain a professional atmosphere in the Rehabilitation area
Qualification
Required
Minimum Education: High School Graduate or GED
Minimum Experience: 2-3 years of scheduling experience
Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT Coding in reference to pre-admission testing
Must be able to interact professionally with Patients, Physician office staff, Clinical Staff, Registrations Staff
