IT Application Manager
Maverick Technology Partners is seeking an IT Application Manager to lead small to midsized IT projects and provide hands-on support for core applications. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
Lead small to midsized IT projects from initiation through closeout, including vendor selection, requirements definition, solution design, testing, training, deployment, and hypercare
Provide hands‑on administration and technical support for core applications, including NetSuite, Coupa, DocuSign, Greenhouse, Veeva Vault, and PleaseReview, while effectively leveraging managed service providers
Build strong partnerships with G&A and Development to understand requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure high‑quality service delivery
Collaborate closely with application vendors, implementation partners, and managed support providers to ensure accountability and alignment
Support change management and governance processes to ensure new capabilities are evaluated, tested, documented, and deployed in a controlled, predictable manner
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, including Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX), data privacy, and FDA computer systems validation requirements
Qualification
Required

Ability to perform detailed analysis, solve complex problems creatively and pragmatically, and exercise sound judgment
Demonstrated track record of successfully achieving challenging goals
Effective analytical skills, with the ability to gather, structure, and interpret information with high attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to determine the best solutions for the business
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
5+ years of experience with enterprise IT applications, ideally within the biotech industry
Experience supporting systems in public‑company environments with SOX controls, and comfort operating in small or fast‑growing companies
