Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Configure and maintain load balancers to distribute traffic effectively across servers
Implement and manage firewall solutions to protect network integrity and data security
Develop and maintain DDoS protection strategies to safeguard against potential threats
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with existing systems
Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
Proficiency in configuring and managing load balancers
Experience with firewall technologies and security best practices
Understanding of DDoS protection mechanisms and strategies
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network issues effectively
Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools and techniques
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications in networking or infrastructure management are a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred
Experience with cloud infrastructure services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash)
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Understanding of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP)
