Entry, Mid LevelMAK Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer to help support, demonstrate, and add custom capabilities to the MAK ONE software suite. The role involves working with customers to build solutions, designing demonstrations, and collaborating with the engineering team to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities
Master the MAK ONE suite of products, including a general understanding of their C++ API
Work with engineering and the sales team to design demonstrations, examples, and proof-of-concept configurations for customers
Demonstrate and teach the MAK ONE sales suite to customers and at conferences around the world
Support customers on site, online, and in classrooms as they build solutions on the MAK ONE suite
Collaborate with the MAK engineering team on product designs to better suit customer needs
Test with the MAK QA team to ensure MAK products meet customer requirements
Qualification
Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills in complex software environments
Ability to work semi-independently
A general understanding of software design
Basic knowledge of computer networking
Must be eligible for a Secret clearance
Intermediate programming experience in a scripting language like Python or Lua
Understanding of the C++ language and software APIs
Preferred
Experience with 3D graphics rendering technology
Familiarity with distributed simulation protocols (HLA, DIS)
Familiarity with multiplayer game environments
Experience with wargaming or other statistical modeling of conflict
Experience with distributed simulation frameworks
Experience with geospatial systems, terrain databases, or web-mapping technology
Prior defense or military experience is highly desired
