Lead the execution of large transmission projects from early development through construction and final closeout
Oversee all aspects of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and risk management
Coordinate consultant hiring, public outreach, landowner and agency engagement, route development, permitting activities, and securing necessary approvals
Manage multiple high-impact projects, interpret contracts, apply OTP safety rules, and lead high-performing teams through clear communication, sound decision-making, and consistent accountability
Guide procurement planning, construction oversight, quality assurance, outage coordination, commissioning, energization, transition to operations, and project closeout
Foster a strong safety culture throughout all phases of work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
At least 10 years of progressive project management experience
Five years managing complex electric utility projects
Demonstrated success in transmission line and substation construction
Strong analytical and planning capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects
Ability to interpret contracts
Ability to apply OTP safety rules
Ability to lead high-performing teams through clear communication, sound decision-making, and consistent accountability
Collaborative and adaptable leadership style
Commitment to continuous improvement
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Ability to guide procurement planning, construction oversight, quality assurance, outage coordination, commissioning, energization, transition to operations, and project closeout
Willingness to travel within the service territory
Ability to foster a strong safety culture throughout all phases of work
Preferred
