IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST I

Responsibilities

Own the Help Desk, providing front-line technical assistance to users via phone, email, or Teams
Utilize Jira tickets to receive, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
Communicate instructions and troubleshooting steps clearly and promptly
Work with vendors on computer warranty repair claims
Order, prepare, and ship equipment to new employees
Research and resolve technical issues independently or in collaboration with other departments
Stay current with software updates, system changes, and support procedures
Develop and update technical training materials as needed
Conduct IT onboarding training sessions for new employees

Qualification

Technical support experienceMicrosoft Windows proficiencyEntra ID experienceMicrosoft 365 Admin CenterTroubleshooting skillsTechnical training developmentInterpersonal skillsCommunication skillsTime managementOrganizational abilities

Required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and related software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
Experience with Entra ID and using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to perform tasks such as managing users and groups, license assignments, password resets, and monitoring service health

Preferred

CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certifications are desired but not required
