Clinical and Lab Coordinator
Virginia Commonwealth University - College of Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Clinical and Laboratory Coordinator for their Optical Imaging Laboratory. The role involves supporting laboratory operations and clinical study activities, focusing on medical device testing, data management, and coordinating research activities.

Responsibilities
Assisting with medical device testing and data management
Coordinating day-to-day research laboratory activities, supplies, and compliance tasks
Supporting clinical imaging studies, including participant scheduling and study workflows
Managing research data collection, organization, and quality control
Assisting with IRB-related documentation and regulatory study procedures
Collaborating with graduate students, engineers, clinicians, and research staff
Maintaining accurate records for experiments, device testing, and clinical protocols
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Health Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education that equates to a Bachelor's degree
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Interest in clinical research, medical technology, and translational imaging
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences
Preferred
Prior experience in a research lab, clinical setting, or medical device environment
Familiarity with optical imaging, biomedical instrumentation, or data analysis tools
Experience with human subject research protocols (IRB exposure is a plus)
