Assistant Production Coordinator

Rare Editions is a leader in creating stylish, high-quality, and affordable children’s apparel. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Production Coordinator to support their production operations by coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, and assisting with quality control.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating production schedules and timelines to ensure on-time delivery
Communicate with vendors, factories, and suppliers to track order progress
Maintain accurate records of production orders, samples, and approvals
Monitor fabric, trims, and raw material availability for upcoming collections
Assist with quality control inspections and ensure products meet company standards
Support the Production Manager with administrative tasks, reports, and updates
Help identify and resolve production issues or delays
Collaborate with design, merchandising, and logistics teams to streamline workflow

Required

Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
1–2 years of experience in production, sourcing, or apparel manufacturing (children's apparel a plus)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of PLM/ERP systems is a plus
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
