Responsibilities
Route construction and planning fleet movement
Route assignment
Communicate with co-workers, stores, and internal departments
Assist drivers with questions and troubleshooting issues
Offer support to other dispatch and management team members
Assist the Distribution Division Team in projects, regulatory compliance, and other operations related matters
Qualification
Required
Possess at least 1-3 years of Transportation/Logistics experience or equivalent experience/education
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to process, interpret, and communicate both verbal and written information to co-workers and customers in a professional manner
Ability to remain calm in a stressful work environment
Accurate/detail oriented
Strong problem-solving skills
Prioritize/manage multiple tasks
Work well alone or as part of a team
Work well with minimal supervision
Possess strong time management/organizational skills
Ability to complete basic math computations
Coordinate efforts of multiple parties
Work in a safety conscious environment
Strong ability to operate a personal computer
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Possess strong data entry skills
Preferred
Experience in an AS400 environment is a plus
Experience working with GeoTab electronic logging is a plus
Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety/DOT Regulations is a plus
Knowledge of delivery equipment is a plus
