They are seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist to serve as the Aftercare Alumni Coordinator, focusing on alumni outreach, event coordination, and maintaining communication with alumni and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Alumni outreach and coordination of on-site and off-site events
Serves as a liaison to new and discharging patients
Conducts group facilitation and speaker coordination
Assists with social media for the facility
Oversees enrollment and ongoing communication with the alumni group
Maintains the alumni database and community events
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Working knowledge of the 12-step program and/or Smart Recovery
Certification as a recovery support specialist is required
Must possess working knowledge of dual diagnosis / chemical dependency treatment approaches
12 Step Program recovery philosophies
Experience interacting in a supportive manner with adult patients
Limit setting and behavior management
Crisis prevention and intervention techniques
Must possess knowledge of continuing care resources and processes
