Sales Account Manager

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of small-to-medium commercial accounts
Drive account retention, satisfaction, and incremental growth
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Maintain consistent, proactive client communication
Pursue inbound and BDE-sourced leads
Conduct early discovery and qualification
Support new business development efforts
Prepare accurate proposals, quotes, and RFP responses
Partner with Sales Operations on documentation and registrations
Ensure compliance with internal standards
Work with Solution Architects on solution design
Support Account Executives and Enterprise Directors
Participate in pipeline and forecast reviews
Maintain accurate CRM records
Track activity, forecasts, and customer interactions
Follow established sales workflows
Participate in ongoing training and coaching
Develop toward an Account Executive role

Required

Preferred

2–5 years of B2B sales or account management experience
Experience with proposals or RFPs
Background in security, technology, or integration services
