Responsibilities

Leads several Program Management Teams (PMTs) of cross functional members that regularly manage new products/services with new market capabilities and offerings and drive proactive problem-solving across the product line
Collaborate to address challenges such as resource allocation, yield improvements, and on-time delivery (OTD) issues
Manages large risks with meaningful financial and schedule impacts and strategic implications for the enterprise
Ability to have large impact on customer satisfaction because of complexity, size, and dynamics of the role
Strong knowledge of product portfolio and customers to assist with addressing challenges due to unforeseen circumstances
Ability to influence and negotiate elements with customers to achieve and/or exceed enterprise commitments while improving Customer satisfaction
Proactively identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, assembly, and quality control. Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards in hardware production
Monitor product line strategies and metrics, such as production schedules, inventory reduction, and cycle times, to ensure operational goals are achieved

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership experience with a focus on hardware production and manufacturing
Experience in managing product lifecycles, continuous improvement efforts, and/or supply chain coordination for physical products
Occasional travel required <10%

Preferred

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Ability to drive strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, finance, or related field preferred
Master's degree (MBA, MOT, Engineering Management or related) is preferred
Program Management experience highly preferred
Preferred candidate will possess a strong development background, engineering and/or execution experience
Prior Aerospace and Defense experience
