MarketEQ is a company that builds performance-focused sales funnels for consulting services. They are seeking a trained video editor for an unpaid internship to edit video sales letters and paid social ads, focusing on execution-level editing that meets professional standards.
Responsibilities
Edit video sales letters used in live sales funnels
Edit paid social video ads for Facebook and Instagram
Repurpose long-form videos into Reels, Shorts, and TikToks
Apply clean cuts, pacing, zooms, captions, and visual emphasis
Use provided motion graphics and callout assets
Improve clarity, flow, and engagement without changing messaging
Format videos correctly for different platforms
Implement feedback quickly and accurately
Maintain organized project files and exports
Qualification
Required
A trained video editor, not self-taught from scratch
Comfortable editing content intended to sell or persuade
Confident working from direction and established styles
Detail-oriented and consistent with quality
Interested in performance marketing and sales funnels
At least 1 year of video editing experience
Formal training in video editing through a university program, college program, or accredited certification or bootcamp
Degree in video production, media arts, film, digital media, or related field, or equivalent formal training
Proven ability to edit professional-quality video
Working knowledge of pacing, captions, and visual hierarchy
Adobe Premiere Pro (primary)
After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools as needed
Provided motion graphics and callout asset library
