Responsibilities
Prepare, replace, and repair network switches and routers
Install and configure network hardware, primarily switches and routers
Support cloud, network, security, and wireless infrastructure operations
Rack, stack, and manage network components ensuring optimal performance
Perform incident management and troubleshooting for hardware and configurations
Review engineering designs and develop operational procedures
Provide on-call support during scheduled maintenance and network cutovers
Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and deploy new products and services
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and procedures
Follow IT Service Management best practices for ticketing, change management, and customer communication
Participate in after-hours maintenance activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, preferably CCNA certified
Experience with network hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Extreme Networks or similar network equipment is a plus
Strong analytical, operational, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work during off-hours for scheduled network maintenance
