Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integrations to support application functionality
Work with frontend teams or UI technologies to ensure seamless data flow and application behavior (no frontend framework experience required)
Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile sprint planning
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services for performance and reliability
Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability across environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in Python and one or more frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
Solid understanding of REST APIs, backend services, and microservices architecture
Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for integration and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
