Responsibilities
Support and configure the CUBS / The Collector System
Create, modify, and maintain programs and subroutines using UniVerse BASIC (Pick BASIC)
Develop and update UniVerse PROCs to support batch processing and workflows
Modify and maintain Linux scripts and cron jobs as needed
Troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, and recommend solutions
Participate in meetings via Microsoft Teams to discuss requirements and assignments
Work independently while partnering with a technical lead on solution design
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with UniVerse BASIC or Pick BASIC
General knowledge of UniVerse / MultiValue database environments
Experience supporting collections systems (1st-party and/or 3rd-party preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Self-starter comfortable navigating legacy systems and limited documentation
Preferred
Direct experience with CUBS / The Collector System
Basic Linux knowledge (command line, scripts, cron jobs)
Background in billing, accounts receivable, or collections operations
Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications
