As a Mechanical Engineering Intern in the Digital Data Networks Business Unit, you will participate in the design of high-speed interconnects and work with multifunctional teams to understand manufacturing and quality control.

Responsibilities
Draft 3D models and 2D drawings for High-Speed IO interconnects
Perform Tolerance Analysis and FEA/Thermal Simulations to guide design optimization
Work with Test lab to qualify new products from mechanical, thermal and application perspectives
Qualification
Required
Have earned a high school diploma or GED
Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS or MA/MS (PhD Acceptable as well) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered)
Are authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
Benefits
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.01 – $42.48/hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
