$25/hr - $35/hrAllied Maker is a growing American manufacturer of handcrafted lighting. We are seeking a Lighting Technician to support the hands-on construction of finished lighting fixtures, ensuring each fixture meets our standards for quality, function, and finish.

Responsibilities
Assemble lighting fixtures from components and sub-assemblies
Install sockets, hardware, shades, and structural elements according to specifications
Perform basic electrical wiring following provided diagrams and instructions
Inspect finished fixtures for alignment, function, and finish quality
Identify and flag issues before fixtures move downstream
Maintain accountability for the quality of completed work
Utilize UL conventions to ensure compliance
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation
Use tools and equipment responsibly and according to shop standards
Follow established processes and safety guidelines
Qualification
Required
Comfort working with tools and small components
Ability to follow written instructions and diagrams
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to work methodically and consistently
Reliability and accountability for completed work
Willingness to learn and improve through training
Patient and focused
Takes pride in producing high-quality work
Calm and professional in a production environment
Respectful of teammates and downstream processes
Preferred
Prior experience in lighting, electrical work, fabrication, or related hands-on fields is a plus but not required
