HR Manager
Beacon Hill has partnered with a high-growth law firm headquartered in Chicago to find a dynamic HR Manager to support their dedicated team. This role involves managing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations, as the first dedicated HR person within the firm.

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of HR including recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, employee relations, and payroll
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
Coordinate benefits administration and non-benefit related insurance renewals
Coach and influence firm management on employee relations issues and hiring decisions
Conduct staff reviews and contribute to succession planning
Handle secretarial resource management
Assist with executive committee and partnership-related tasks
Review vendor contracts and manage the annual budget for HR vendors
Develop and maintain employee handbooks for non-exempt and exempt employees
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Human Resources
HR operations interest and emphasis
Hands-on approach with the ability to handle varied HR responsibilities
Familiarity with HRIS systems and manual record-keeping
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
